Flexibility & Mobility

HIIT

This class improves overall flexibility and joint mobility, focusing on hips, shoulders, spine, and legs. Why it’s important: Increased flexibility allows skaters to achieve deeper edges, higher extensions, and better positions in spins and spirals, while mobility reduces injury risk and supports fluid movement on the ice.

High-intensity interval training sessions designed to boost endurance, speed, and recovery capacity. Why It’s Important: Skaters need cardiovascular stamina to maintain energy and consistency through their programs. HIIT also mirrors the intensity bursts of actual routines, improving performance under fatigue.

Balance & Coordination

Off-ice Jumps & Technique

Develop balance, proprioception, and whole-body coordination using exercises that challenge stability and control. Why it’s important: Strong balance and coordination are crucial for jump take offs and landings, spins and footwork - helping skaters stay centered and in control.

Learn jump mechanics off the ice, including takeoff, air position, rotation, and landing drills. Why it’s important: Off-ice jump training enhances muscle memory, strengthens take-off power, and improves rotation speed, which directly translates to better jump execution and confidence on the ice.

Posture & Choreography

Core Strength

This class focuses on developing strong, aligned posture for better balance, control, and presentation. Light choreography and movement exercises are included to apply posture skills in motion. Why It’s Important: Proper posture improves stability, power, and overall appearance on the ice, forming the foundation for both technical and artistic performance.

A targeted class to develop deep core stability, rotational control, and midline strength through functional exercises. Why It’s Important: A strong core is crucial for jump rotation, spin control, and overall stability on the ice.
